I know my name might fool you, but I'm a terrible Ike! I am a dedicated snake player now.(I don't feel like changing my name so call me Fray) Anyways, I found a uber way to place a mine. I don't know if this is common knowledge (seeing as how i can't find it posted on here). If you shield drop a nade and wait a little bit(By a little bit I mean it takes timing. It's not hard though) , then place a mine you will be protected and it might just trick your opponent. Now some people think the nade will set off the mine. Strange thing is it won't (if you time it right). The nade will explode right next to or even on the freshly placed mine but it wont explode (if timed right). The opponent will see the blast and usually think the mine is gone. Then BOOM! Easy damage. I would post a video if I had the equipment. If you found this useful then comment.
