Miitopia 2: A Creation Thread

I'm BACK with a new thread.

If your familiar with my previous Miitopai thread, that pretty much fizzled out, possible due to focusing on a new combat system, that is probably what killed it.

Well now this sequal to Miitopia will contain the same combat system as last time, only this time expanded upon due to the addition of new items, personalities, classes, and monsters.

This will take place in a new land with it's own ecosystem, meaning everything is new with even "returning" monsters will be completely different in appearance and behavior.


1. Ground Slug (Slug Family)
2. Observabush (Floara Family)




Each character can align with one of twelve elements, these are represented by the color of their shirts

Red: Fire
Orange: Sand
Yellow: Electricity
Dark Green: Plant
Lime Green: Acid
Blue: Water
Cyan: Ice
Purple: Undead
Brown: Stone
Pink: Arcane
Black: Dark
White: Light

Family: (In Miitopia, each monster was part of a type, Rock Moth for example had other similarly in appearance enemies such as the Poison Moth and Death Butterfly, describe the Family for this monster to create a base for other monsters of similair appearance down the line, previous families such as the Flaura and Slug can be used as well)
Appearance: (Describe the basic apperance of this Monster, as well as describe where and what the Mii Face parts will be, for example the Rock Moth had a pair of Mii eyes on its wings)
Attacks: (What this monster does as attacks, make sure you describe attacks that involve elemental magic)

Job 1
Submit a new Job, aka Classes
In Miitopia, Jobs are the classes of the game, they consist of normal classes like the Warrior and Scientist, to abnormal ones like the Cat and Tank, the job is to create a brand new Job for this game, describe a generalization for this class such as including potential abilities and strengths and weaknesses, as movesets will be a future job.

Submit the first Monster
In Miitopia 1 the Rock Moth was the easiest monster to defeat, in this game it will be something else, describe the monster and use the following template.

Witch Doctor
Witch Doctors are an interesting job, being able to use voodoo and runes to create potent magical effects, including copying the attacks of enemies against them, brainwashing enemies to confuse them, and make themselves intangible, what makes them weak however is their defenses being very frail and lacking hp.

New Monster
Ground Slug

Family: Slug

Apperance: A bright yellow slug with a pair of stalk eyes, those eyes are Mii Eyes, particularly ones that look nervous or wimpy, perfect for a weak enemy, they have some darker patches in its tail resembling dirt.

Attacks: Tackle (Does a weak, slow tackle, does low damage)

Journal Entry: This used to be called the Banana Slug, but was changed due to Miis mistaking them for HP Bananas and got a mouth full of slime, so they were changed to be named after the ground, something Miis definitely dont eat.

Food
Slime Soup ●
This pungent soup has a strange texture, but some consider that part of the experience.

HP and Speed Up

Has a melt in your mouth feeling to it, just dont mention that its supposed to be a liquid.

A deep rich flavor tasting like butter is given off by this pungent paste.

Job 1: Ninja

Ah, ninjas.... Ninjas would be ranged and evasive fighters. Their weapon is a shuriken (Weapon could change to razor or pizza cutter as examples), and their headpiece changes from ninja robes to a ninja headband. They could use attacks like a smoke bomb (allows them to escape) and cloning. They have high agility and offense, but are severely lacking in defense.

I think Banana Slugs are good enemies, so I won't submit.

You can try I tried to make it approachable, and it's called Ground Slugs

Okay, this may sound ridiculous, but I love the idea of:

Salesman/Merchant

Essentially, the quirks to this character lie in the game's currency. Unlike any other character, the Salesman actually has access to a backpack full of weapons, healing items, and the like - but the catch is that you have to pay them in order to use them. As a result, the Salesman archetype is actually one of the most powerful - but only if you have the money for it.

Attacks will have a minimum price to be performed, but if you pay more than that, the "quality" of the attack will be increased. The more money you hand over, the better the attacks will be in general. Aside from this, they also have the ability to heal enemies - working as a good all-rounder, but with a fatal flaw. In fact, the Salesman's attacks when given enough money have the capacity to be some of the most powerful in the game... but at, as mentioned, a price.

I also imagine that they would be by far one of the most effective barterers/hagglers if that sort of SMT-style mechanic is bring brought in, and at higher levels they're able to decrease prices at shops by bartering with the owner. Aside from this, it would be funny if there's a running gag of them constantly trying to sell useless stuff to both enemies and allies alike.

Family: Flora (notable for their flower/plant-like appearance)
Appearance: Observabush has a pair of Mii eyes that it wears atop itself. It's often thought that it has a true form and that the bush is simply worn to conceal its identity - which makes sense, given it keeps falling over. Very few have seen Observabush's true form, but it's thought to be similar to the appearance of a mouse. (This can be seen if you use an attack with a fire-like effect, that burns away the bush around Observabush, leaving only charred bits of wood around the mouse.)

Journal Entry: This mysterious creature hasn't been seen by many... it's thought the bush it hides within is a simple disguise to hide its true form. As for what that true form is... nobody knows.

[Note that after burning Observabush with a fire-based attack, the journal entry changes, as such:] This mysterious creature hasn't been seen by many... it's thought the bush it hides within is a simple disguise to hide its true form. Made from leaves plucked from Observabush, it's not a particularly tasty tea, but it's good enough to keep you going.

A healthy mix of berries and nettle-like leaves leave a sharp taste in the mouth - keeping you awake and alert!
Barbed Berry Bush Brew :starman::starman::starman: (HP up, accuracy up)
Made from the toughest leaves from Observabush's, well, bush, combined with only the juciest berries, this wonderful drink is sure to stimulate your senses!

This personality is as the name suggest very competitive, they like to be as good as the other teammates and maybe even better which allows them to have a chance to do the same amount of damage as the previous Mii's attack if they get jealous of it, they also have a chance of showing off their durability and gain less damage to an attack, however they grow resentment to those that it thinks stole its spotlight.

Elemental System
This system is unique in that the elements available are based on the 12 colors of shirts Miis could wear, the elements are color coded as:
Red is Fire
Orange is Sand
Blue is Water
Cyan is Ice
Yellow is Electricity
Dark Green is Plant
Lime Green is Acid
Purple is Undead
Pink is Arcane Magic
Brown is Stone
Black is Darkness
White is Light

New Personality: Refined
Refined Miis are rich and snobbish. They may occasionally buy a weapon or HP Banana on their own using their own money and will give HP Bananas and MP Candies to Miis who need it. They may go into the safe spot on their own and attack from afar, and they'll get furious if they are the victim of the mud puddle event.

However, they have a positive - their intense sense of justice tends to increase their attack power, and aside from this, they'll often provide support to their allies which can help dispel mentally-based status effects.

(Mii Name), The Ancient Preist
A ghostly creature wearing a mask with the Mii's face, unlike the Dark Lord, there is not sympathetic qualities if this character, it can use its hands to create bodies for new powerful monsters and use its mask to remove the faces off Miis, its goal is too collect enough faces to summon a demon creature and gain ultimate power.

Job #5: Contiinue. (This is horrible, I know, but it was the best idea I could come up with LMAO)

Job #6: The Masked Spirit.

A mysterious being, this wandering spirit originally started life as a common enemy, but eventually grew its magical power - to such an extent that now, it's able to take the faces of Miis, and put them on masks! The spirit itself takes the form of a sort of orb flame that can change colour to match its emotions. However, this is the "head" of what looks like a stage magician, with a fancy outfit and even with a floating top hat! Most notably, it's constantly orbited by masks that have Mii faces on them. Notably, the face of whoever it is you pick to be the main villain will be the one on the mask it most commonly wears, thought to be its "true" face. The motivation of the spirit is to surround itself with the faces of every Mii, and finally be able to find its own identity within them.

I may submit a region later, but for now, here's my enemy.

Job 7: Psykiks

Family: Energy Imps

Appearance: A pink, round, floating energy orb with two stubby horns sticking out. They also have cartoony gloves floating on their sides. Psykiks have two Mii eyes.

Attacks: They have a basic attack where they extend their arm and punch a Mii from afar. They can also float rocks at Miis, which deals hefty damage to the Mii attacks but the rock then splits into smaller rocks which attack Mii on either side of the targeted Mii. Finally, they can use a move which introduces a new status effect, called Floating. A pink aura surrounds the Mii as they begin to float, unable to do anything.

Journal Entry: Psykiks like to stay in areas plentiful with materials to attack Miis with them. They are said to come from an odd being that had immense arcane magic.

Side Lore (Not included, but just wanted to share for fun. Could be part of the hypothetical "Art Book".): Psykiks are said to come from a creation of a mad scientist, who wanted to create a being that could take over towns. Chaos ensued, but the being then turned on its creator, killing him and then splitting into energy imps, with the most common one being Psykiks. This event is known as the Arcane Catastrophe.

A soup made of pure energy. It gives small magic power to whoever eats it.

There is more potent energy in this soup. Children eat it to awaken their magic powers.

A favorite food of mages. Drinking too much puts your magic out of control.

Side Note: They would be found in the boss dungeon of the area.

Region
Fancyfall Forest
The adveture starts out in a quaint autumn forest region, at first you will face the traditional autumn trees, leaf piles (some having enemy ambushes) and pumpkins, however as you head deeper you see very strange sites.

This includes such places as a maple syrup river, giant pumpkins, and a cornfield maze, despite this the palce is very peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a first region.

Redfeild Town
This place is dotted by various shapes of orange, red, and brown to color the buildings and there are pumpkin patches all over the place, too add to the fall charm the mayor even has a pet Twerkey, and the locals are easygoing, peaceful people:

Autumn Tengu
Family: Tengu
Apperance: An orange humanoid bird creature, they have a pair of autumn leaves it uses as fans, a pair of mii eyes and a nose are on its pumpkin orange mask, it also wear a pair of maple wood sandles and a loose thread cloak.
Attacks: Uses it's two leaf fans to attack 3 members at once, luckily that attack us very weak, it also can grab a flute to play that makes enemies heal a bit of hp, they can also create a tornado of leaves to launch at a single target for Plant based damage.
Elemental Resistances: Plant (they use plants) Arcane (being magical beings they are resistant to Arcane magic)
Elemental Weaknesses: Fire, Ice (Both can freeze or burn leaves)
Journal: Tricksters that dwell in autumn forests, they play their flute to signify that the leaves are falling soon, they are said to use these leaves to create magical pranks, but no one has seen that happen or proven it, at least they smell like cinnamon.
Food:
Tengu Leaf Salad ● (Speed and Magic up)
The spice of fresh Tengu leaves give this a slightly sweet taste

Grinding these leaves makes a good substitute for cinnamon, and mixes well with peppers for a sweet and salty taste

A salad so tasty, even children will eat their vegetable and mistake it for desert, a win win for parents.

Okay so it should be noted that this area job will be for regions and not individuals zones, for example compare this to Greenhorne the region and no induvidual zones like Easin hills, think of that when making these entires

Due to no one entering the first region, my Fancyfall Forest and Redfeild Town will be the first area of the game

Miitwopia and Masked Spirit is the winner of out other jobs

Submit the main npc, or npcs of the Fancyfall Forest, Greenhorne has the king, princess, prince of nearby land, and besmirched nobles son for example, you can submit multible of these NPCs as long as they are related to one another in the story, describe their roles and personalities.

In Greenhorne Easin Plains was the first place you explored, in this game submit the perfect simple starting area for Fancyfall forest, desire the enviroment and other details.

In Miitopia, the Mini Sassy Child Slime was the first boss, now describe the first boss of this game, use the template I gave you for the monsters but also add.
