I wasn't wrong, I called the mii exactly how it would be implemented... Though more than three options.

But then I listened to the doubters after each character was revealed to have a custom moveset.

And then I was wrong.

I was surprised they weren't in Brawl to be honest.

Didn't see the multiple movesets coming though. I'm not sure how I feel about that; It could have eaten up a lot of development time. On the other hand it looks like most of their moves come from other characters in some form, so who knows.

I always thought it was VERY likely, especially since Wii Fit trainer got in. I've been saying that Instead of new retros, we are getting two wii representatives. Still I didn't want to Mii in. After seeing them today, my opinion has changed. I really like how they have three styles. Still don't think they look right in game though.

I said they wouldn't be in either because I THOUGHT Nintendo had some integrity left. What we were WRONG about was Nintendo. The Mii Fighters are a disgrace to Smash Bros.

I suppose they should just go ahead and put Goku, Ridley, Naruto, and every other character in the game because HEY WHY NOT? Apparently you just have to have a digital counterpart to be in the game now.

Anyone who didn't see Miis or Pac-Man getting confirmed at E3 2014 after E3 2013 and the leaks was clearly not in the know, and if they were, then well, they clearly aren't exactly someone you ought to be seriously listened to in regards to reveals and potential newcomers.

Well, looks like I shouldn't seriously listen to at least 1/3 of the users on here when it comes to reveals and potential newcomers anymore.

Honestly, speaking for the real spot, I think a lot of people knew it was going to happen, but hated it so much they refused to acknowledge it.

There's an entire segment of users who hate the idea of playable Miis or 3rd party characters, and honestly, sans not knowing the Gematsu/Sal leaks, that's the only reason why people felt they weren't happening.

Sadly, that likely includes like 50% of the users here at least, and I hate to say that. Hopefully they were humbled by it and learned, the same way the Pokémon Trainer reveal made me learn to expect the unexpected.

Once you put those biases aside for characters, I felt it was pretty clear that Pac-Man and Miis were happening.

I mean c'mon, who guessed the Wii Fit Trainer=??? There was a list on GameFAQs over 2,000 characters and the only Wii Fit playable characters idea I saw was the Wii Balance Board and the Vitality Sensor.

I knew they were coming but didn't want them. I was highly against their inclusion but they were guaranteed. They didn't get in the brawl the same rate as the Villager, so that's how I knew they made it.

I was wrong for not accepting them as they should, so I'm sorry to those who did support them.

Not that I really think they are a disgrace (thank you Reggie 4 playable), but I wouldn't call them a main character. They are an avatar.

Sakurai said the main reason for adding them was to let players use anyone they wanted in Smash, regardless of whether they're playable or not. Is it really that sinful and disgraceful to let people play as whoever they want?

Other fighting games have the option of creating your own character, like Soul Calibur. Don't know why suddenly people think that the inclusion of a similar concept in Smash is a sin.

I was always neutral towards the Miis inclusion but after seeing how they will play I was instantly bought. My biggest worry was how they would play but Sakurai certainly worked his magic on it.

I didn't like the idea and I was pretty sad about it when they were confirmed. But, now that some time has passed and I've started using my Mii fairly regularly in MK8, I've warmed up to the idea. The gunners look pretty legit.

I was wrong. They wouldn't have a semi-boring Wii Sports moveset that I'd dabble in but generally ignore. They all look outstanding and I'm really looking forward to them.
