Also, try LC into a instant ledge snap. It is a bit faster as the tech you mention takes a bit above nine frames I believe, kurogane hammer isn't exactly clear on teleport.

It is a good option even though it takes a bit longer, because being in the position to LC has a lot of advantages. Nair, ledge snap or teleport down to bait the roll. Retreating as well I guess.

A good tip for Smash Ultimate Lucas is with his Dash A and Side A it’s good to hit your enemy at the tip of these, as they will do more damage then closer up
