Smash Apprentice
I'm am big Metroid fan, and I thought it would be cool to play as a metriod in SSBB.
Before you say anything, I don't, strictly speaking, want metroid, i just fancy the idea. So instead of arguing about whether or not metroid should be incuded, I'd just like to think about is moveset, possible stage, (backround music????) etc.
Here's what i've got-
Metroid - standard moves
A-the metroid does a sort of shove doing minimal damage but being faster than the other moves. (about 2-3 % damage)
Strong Side A - the metroid twirls around in a sort of quazi tackle doing about 11% damage
Strong Down A -the metroid snaps at an opponents feet, biting them if it hits (about 16% damage, this move is quite slow but leaves the opponent open for succesive attacks i.e. smashes))
Strong Up A - the metroid flips and grazes its opponent with its longer horn/feet/things. (about 12% damage)
Dash A- the metroid tackles the opponent with its head doing about 13% damage.
Smash Side A - the metroid lunges full body at its opponent doing about 17% damage.
Smash Down A - the metroid twirls around (similar to peaches down smash in SSBM) doing about 16% damage.
Smash Up A - the metroid lunges in an upward motion doing about 15% damage.
Metroid - Special Moves
B - the metroid hisses and paralyzes enemies with fear (similar to Jigglypuff's Sing move in SSBM) no damage.
Strong Side B- the metroid bites sideways, and drains 20% energy out of and opponent and restores 20% energy to itself, then tosses the opponent aside, doing about 6 % damage.
Smash Side B - the metroid charges sideways, biting the first opponent in its path then sucking 20% damage from them and restoring 20% to its own health. it then tosses the opponent aside, doing about 12% damage.
Smash/Strong Down B - the metroid plunges to the earth, biting the first unfortunate player in its path. the Metroid grabs, and can carry the opponent via the Control Stick while draining energy. the Metroid automatically drops then opponent when it has sucked 10% damage.
Smash/ Strong Up B - the metroid release energy stored within its body to turn itself into a living missile, doing 15% damage on impact. (this is definatly more of a recovery move)
Other notes - while grabbing, the A button will make the metroid attack, doing about 6% damage with a bite. Throws will involve a small toss, in the case of the up throw, spitting out the opponent upwards, and in the case of down, scrathing up the opponent a good bit.
