I found out while playing as Metaknight, that when you do N-Air right over the ground and press a, you rebound instantaneously. It may be the new wavedash!

Metaknight landing glitch (COULD BE LIKE WAVEDASHING)

Can you dash out of it though? kuz I see the instant land after doing Nair right above the ground, but if its going to be seen as similar to wavedash, you have to be able to dash out of it.

Do an N-Air, then you can press a to take away landing frames right when you land. If you can't comprehend that, I advise you to go back under the rock you came from.

Anyways, there really isn't nearly enough landing lag on the nair anyways for this to be remotely useful. Furthermore, landing lag on the nair doesn't matter anyways since it shouldn't usually be short-hopped unless your opponent is a ****** or doesn't shield grab (which would probably make him a ******). It doesn't act as a wavedash unless you can dash out of it, either, as Raphs mentioned.
