Never thought I'd ever say this about a Smash game but G&W looks pretty ****ing awesome.

I'll be working on making a readable changelist in the next few days or so.

Pretty much. Some characters have received very subtle "buffs" but it's essentially the same deal for the top 8 cast.

Looks really good! I am curious however as to what the main goal of the project is. Is it attempting to replace the current version of melee in tournament? Also what are you guys doing to ensure it doesn't fall flat on it's face like balanced brawl did a few years back?

You can't replace a "real" (physical; commercial, etc.) game - that's just not feasible in the slightest. Any Smash hack in existence will never reach that status.

As developers, the most we can do is give people the word this is out. Developers don't decide the fate of games: players do. As long as we have a loyal fanbase, we can "survive." If not, then it cannot be helped.

thanks for that, viet. This looks really interesting, how would I play it?
You'd have to have a Wii running Homebrew Channel among some other things. There are installation steps in the first post of the main SD Remix thread in Melee Workshop (pssh, click my signature).

The steps seem complicated but they really aren't if you take each step one at a time.

looks pretty sweet. any chance you guys could release the changes as a cheat file so we could turn it on/off just using our loader, rather than have to do some black magic
