Melee Netplay Problem

Is there a way to play melee netplay with the controller plugged into port 3? My adapter was cheap and ports 1,2, and 4 don't work and netplay doesn't work unless the controller is plugged into port 1, so I have no idea what to do.

Click the controller settings at the the top of your dolphin library and make sure you have port 3 set to your adapter. It's usually set to nothing by default so just change that and it should work fine.

I have it set. It works for playing offline melee, but whenever I try to go on net play, it doesn't work
