Thank you!"Smash 4 will be its own thing"
No. It'll be brawl 2. If they're going rehash game mechanics they should've taken them from the good game in the series.
No, it's just that statements like "smash 4 will play like smash 4" and the like sound ludicrous. You will hit characters and make their percentages go up and eventually you will send them to the blast zone. You do that in every smash, and since Melee came out, smash has never played as it's own thing. The methods in which we play may change, but not the core mechanics. So, a sequel can't be its own game unless it completely overhauls its mechanics/borrows mechanics from the preferred version? =.=
We're already writing off every potential advanced technique that may exist in a game none of us have even played yet?No, it's just that statements like "smash 4 will play like smash 4" and the like sound ludicrous. Smash 4 will not be it's "own thing". It will play based off of its "own franchise".
You may be one of the few people that actually understood RODO's request. There should be a 64, Melee, and Brawl physics modes IMO.
Giant Smash Four Deconfirmed.NO. STOP IT.
Smash 4 will have one main mode:
SMASH 4 MODE
Because we wanna try something old made new. And because it would be cool to play Mega Man with Melee-esk physics.*Sigh... *Sighs all around... Why not play Melee? Why not play Project M? Smash 4 can be its own game and be great without having to be Melee + characters.
