I've definitely attempted SHDLs in Laser Tag before. Not as effective outside of Smash, though.

When I was a kid I wavedashed on a grass field with ice on it (snow and rain + a lot of kids stomping all over it) but I fell over and hit my head. Kinda like when you wavedash off a platform with some characters and you tumble and forget to tech.

Also, there was this one time at a school meeting (cant remember the official word) a friend said, "hey forest, I dare you to show everyone your tech skill on stage" and I went up there and dash danced really fast, and attempted to shuffle dairs as fox.

Yeah, if you don't lose a stock, you will gain a lot of percentage and Dr. Mario is gonna have to try to heal you with a lot of Maxim Tomatoes and Hearts.
