I think you are in the wrong place if you are looking for Brawl+ advice. Normally I'd suggest using much less forward smash and more up tilt, but I have no idea if increased gravity and whatnot in Brawl+ messes with it's killing power.

Also, we focus on official tournament play so its hard to critique when the game has been modified. Now quickly from what I saw, you're okay, but you are still a little reckless, and if you were playing against a better opponent/a faster character, there were many opportunities where you could have been punished. To me it looked more like the lack of good recovery from Link paired with increased hitstun that killed his first stock, but I didn't watch the entire match. Record a proper match, submit it to the critique thread and await judgment.
