I was wondering if there are any other unfourtunate being at SWF who are a slave to Mcdonalds too. I work there ONLY because I need some cash, I bought what I was saving for, now I am just saving up. If there are (or not even), do you hate mcdonalds? I CANNOT STAND some of the emplyoees that work there. They make me do everything while they go out back and smoke weed and joke around.:urg:

Supermarket and fast food jobs are well known to be the work place to work at, I don't know why you'd willingly apply there. besides, everyone I see that works there is weird.

Yeah I am weird too but I am glad I won't be working in Denny's anymore. The only thing I will miss is the singing/dancing/loud noises/ random food tossing in the back kitchen. As for the customers I will, hypocritically, flick them all off on my way out the door even though I am a nice guy.

A crummy world of plot holes and spelling errors
"Slaves are held against their will from the time of their capture, purchase, or birth, and are deprived of the right to leave, to refuse to work, or to receive compensation in return for their labor. As such, slavery is one form of unfree labor."

-Wikipedia

There might be some other sort of slavery I'm not informed of, but I'm going with the general view of slavery.

I was referring to classical slavery or Greco-Roman slavery. Slaves were property but they had rights, just like non-citizens had rights but citizens had more/different rights and more responsibilities/duties to the state.

Well, I don't know any modern day slaves so I can't tell you whether they get payed or not.

There is actually a large human trafficking operation that exists in eastern Europe, the middle east, and parts of Asia. I know a lot of young girls fleeing from Iraq were captured and turned into forced prostitutes in Saudi Arabia, which is what the majority of the slave trade is now a days. Except for parts of Africa, were slavery is still used in conflicts.

You know them?!? Ask them how it feels to be a modern day slave and also ask them it they get payed or not.

The difference between slave and servant is property and employee.
