In melee if you were holding onto a ledge, quickly fell and then jumped once more you could shoot a missle just right over the stage floor (I think its called ledge jumping but didn't want to take a risk in getting it wrong.) Anyway, it was the same for a charge shot beam, it would glide right over the stage floor, then you would have to use her Up B to grab onto the ledge again. This rule did not change for the missles in brawl, and you still have to use her up B after shooting a missle to grab the ledge once again--but not for charge beam shots. You can ledge jump and then just shoot a charge beam ball, then you immediately grab the ledge again and can repeat. There isn't really a use for this but it can be utilized maybe in the future.

Against an edgeguarder maybe this would help, but it would still be easily jumped over.

In Melee and still in Brawl you can ledge hop a missile and grab onto the ledge without using recovery.. it's just muscle memory with timing.

And charge shot without even being charged off of a ledge hop is useful in many ways.

I didn't know you could do it without the recovery in melee, well anyway, you have to use the recovery with a missle.

I can see this being used alot with pros, but really unless a person that is not fast paced the only reason for it is for a FULLY charged shot mind game, not a minor charge shot. Who knows, maybe it has more possibilities
