[May 3, 2014] Upstate Battle Series 7 (Henrietta, New York)

Upstate Battle Series will have Tournaments for the following events at these starting times:
12am-1pm – Free play + Sign-ups
1pm – Melee Doubles start
1pm – Smash 64 start
2pm – Project M start
2pm – Melee Singles start


Each individual event costs $5 per person and there's no venue fee.
Please bring a setup / TV with you.

Location: Type "Sol" into http://maps.rit.edu/ to find where the building is, park in the "K" lot across the road.

Sign-ups: Sign-ups will start at 12am, you'll be given a name tag to let others know who you are.

Rule Sets:
Project M: https://www.apex-series.com/rules/projectm/
Melee : https://www.apex-series.com/rules/melee/ - with slight alterations
DK 64 is not a counter pick stage for doubles
Wobbling is illegal
The coaching rule is omitted
Ties / Sudden Deaths will be replayed with 1 stock, same settings
Controller ports can't be argued mid set
Picking random for a stage trumps DSR and bans (doesn't apply to striking)

No we don't play brawl, project m is probably the closest thing we play competitively but we've been getting a lot of new players recently so we're glad to have you.

ive been doing pretty decent when it comes to brawl i just started a few months ago and have climbed the ranks of my online buddies i placed 5th in a tournament i hosted on my twitch channel and ive been thinking of getting into it because melee is the only thing people play in upstate ny, smash 4 is going to run at a speed faster than brawl but slower than melee, and i heard its more competitve so yh im going to pick it up with my friends and see how far i can go Seeya next tourny
