The official thread for FWP's Spring Smash tournament!
Fighting With Pride (FWP) is a new organization based in Arkansas focusing on fighting games, and is starting up with Super Smash Brothers tournaments, this is for the Spring 2015 tournament.
We'll have 1,200+ in Pot Bonus, and D1x and TKBreezy commentating on the main stream!

Springdale Hotel Convention Center in Springdale, Arkansas

The event will take place in the Main Hall area of the convention center, we are sponsored by Arkansas Anime Festival and will be sharing the hotel with them, they also will have a large event going, if you register for FWP you get a special discount at Arkansas Anime Festival!
For those of you flying in the closest airport is XNA Regional Airport, there are cabs available, and rental cars, you can also check in our Facebook page for people who might be able to pick you up!

Register for FWP at the link above, we have to badges available player and spectator badges. Prices will go up May 10th, 2015. Limited player badges will be available at the door, there will be spectator badges at the door and day badges.
Badge Prices are:
Smash 4 Singles: 15.00 USD
Smash 4 Doubles: 15.00 USD (Per Player)
Melee Singles: 15.00 USD
Melee Doubles: 15.00 USD (Per Player)
Project M Singles: 15.00 USD
Project M Doubles: 15.00 USD (Per Player)
Spectator: 10.00 USD
There is a $20.00 USD venue fee on all badges, $20 per additional game.
The pre-registration spectator badge is a 3 day pass and will grant you general seating to the event.
$5.00 USD of each spectator badge gets distributed among singles brackets, in a 50%/30%/20% format, the lowest pot receives the highest percentage.
Day badge prices are available on the Facebook event page.
Current Pot Bonus is at 1,200.00 USD spread among singles!

Melee Singles: $750.00 USD
Smash 4 Singles: $250.00 USD
Project M Singles: $200.00 USD

The rules are pretty standard for the games, if you have any questions feel free to send a message on our Facebook or reply on this thread!
- Schedule -
Schedule will be posted on our Facebook as this is a 3-day event we understand the urgency, as of know we can confirm all players will need to be present on Friday, May 29th, Pools will be taking place then, a rough outline will be posted on April 20th on our Facebook!
- Player Voting -
We want to send pro players to our event so that everyone can get some good practice in before evo, and we have a hype tournament going on for the weekend for people to watch and enjoy! We have a gofundme set-up, and also player voting, so you can vote for which player you want to see at FWP! This gives us an idea of who to contact and work with!
