***ATTENTION***
Alright guys so after exhausting every possible option we have decided to go ahead and try to use the tech venue tomorrow. Sleepy will stay in the room overnight and open the doors for everyone. We were unable to rent the room so there is a possibility the tournament could be shut down at any time. We are optimistic that won't happen though as nobody has ever tried to shut down any of our tournaments before. I know this is a smash tourney so it will be decently loud but try to keep the noise level down. Don't do things like shout across the room at each other.
Please be on time. Tournament registration starts at 4 PM and ends at 5 PM, NO EXCEPTIONS. Do the safe thing and come early. Check for traffic ahead of time. Don't call any of us if you are running late because of X problem, we are NOT able to hold anything up. ***ALSO PLEASE BRING SETUPS!!!! IF WE DO NOT HAVE AN AMPLE AMOUNT OF SETUPS ROUND ROBIN POOLS WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!***

**REMEMBER TO BRING SETUPS, ESPECIALLY CRTS! People were lazy and didn't bring setups last time so Sleepy had to yell at all of you to go back and bring them which delayed the tournament by over an hour. Please don't let that happen again.**
SleepyK will be baking cookies and only giving them to people who bring FULL SETUPS (CRT + Wii/Cube + Melee)

Also, we have a handtruck/dolly to assist with carrying TVs - we'll try to get pictures posted to show you where you can park and where you can pull up to do tv drop offs.

Pre-Registration is not mandatory but it would be a great help to the TO staff if you took 30 seconds of your time to fill it out. This will guarantee better pool seeding for everyone and assure you that you will not have to play your friends in pools. Payment is only accepted at the venue.
We will have pools if we have 24+ entrants.
24-32 entrants: 4 pools, top 3 make it out
33-39 entrants: 6 pools, top 3 make it out
40-64 entrants: 8 pools, top 3 make it out
65+ entrants: TBD
*Pools will not happen no matter the attendance number if we do not have at least 2-3 setups per pool!*
Anybody who does not make it into bracket regardless of tier can participate in an amateur bracket if somebody is willing to run it.
Rules:
4 stocks, 8 minute timer. Items off.
Doubles only: Friendly Fire on, Pause off. Life stealing allowed.
Singles Neutrals: DL64, FD, BF, YS, FoD
Singles Counterpicks: PS
Doubles Neutrals: DL64, FD, BF, YS, PS
You cannot counterpick to any stage you have won on in a set unless your opponents agrees to it.
First game decided by 1-2-2-1 stage striking. In best of 3s, each player/team has 1 ban. In best of 5s, there are no bans. Semis and up are best of 5.
Wobbling Legal up to 250%. Wobbling past 250% will be considered stalling and result in the loss of a stock.
If a dispute arises mid match/set, call one of the TOs over.

If Doubles is 6 teams or less it will be Winner take all and 2nd gets money back.
7-23 Teams

**If enough people are interested, a 1 stock ruleset can be ran!**
Keep in mind - If you are entering multiple events, Melee takes priority over everything else. If you have to play a match in Melee and you're in the middle of a set in a side tournament, you will have to leave mid-set and finish your melee match. No holding up the main events.
