I'm talking of course, of the Steel Pokemon from the 3rd Generation.

First of all, I want to state that this is not a joke topic and I do support Mawile being a playable character in Brawl. But, I also understand that there are tons of other Pokemon with a higher priority, which means Mawile's odds of being playable are slim. I'll be happy if he shows up at least as a pokeball Pokemon, but this thread is meant to show support for Mawile. You can post your support or disagreement, but please be civil and respect other's opinions on the matter.

Having said that...

Mawile is a very unique Pokemon in the sense that he battles by showing his back to his opponents, where he holds some transformed horns that look like jaws, which he uses to attack.

Idea for a B-Moveset:

Down B - Stockpile: Mawile will accumulate power inside him. This takes 2 seconds to do and Mawile is vulnerable to all attacks during that time. He can do this up until three times, as it won't work after that until it's released.
Neutral B - Spit Up: Mawile will release the energy accumulated through Stockpile via a bolt of energy, which works as a projectile move. The more he had accumulated, the bigger the bolt of energy will be and will do more damage. If Mawile has no stockpiled energy, this move will simply be a weak punch with his horns.
Up B - Vicegrip: Mawile will use his horns to hit with an uppercut-style punch. He will do a small jump that can work as a recovery move.
Side B - Crunch: Mawile will grab an opponent with his horns and bites him viciously numerous times (Works similar as Bowser's Side B)

Final Smash - Hyper Beam: Mawile will fire an ultra-powerful beam from his jaws straight forward, and if anyone is caught in the vortex, well... tough luck.

Other details:
- Mawile, being made primarily of steel, is very heavy and a fast faller.
- His walking and running speeds would probably be similar to Mario, since he has average speed in the Pokemon games.
- His blocking move is slightly more powerful than normal, due to his ability to use Iron Defense.

I'll add more later. In the meantime, I'd like to hear some other opinions. Feel free to post your comments.

Oh, and feel free to use the Mawile Support Button, I made it myself:

Wow, another random character with a support thread... When will they end...
Most likely when the game is out.

Before that, it's all speculation until confirmed or deconfirmed.

Yea you could ask why not, but I really want to know why first.
Everybody has an oddball character that he wishes makes it to brawl. The trio in my sig are mine. Seeing this is the only one without a support topic I went and made one. He can get a moveset that makes him a fitting character for Brawl, and if by any chance he does make it (which I'm aware is less of a 0.1% of a chance), he'll probably be well-received.

And I guess another reason is that he's one of my favorite Pokemon. I'd love to see him in the game in some form, even if it's just as a Pokeball Pokemon.

And even if he doesn't make it in any way, it won't stop me for buying Brawl.

K good, because I would sooner expect a free copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl in the mail tomorrow than Mawile ever becoming a playable character in the Smash series, even if it continued on to ten installments.
