Matchup Chart Project 2015 - Calling Bowser Jr Mains!

Hello Bowser Jr boards,

I'm Zareidriel. Over in this thread a guy called Assassannerr made a matchup chart, and asked people to help fill it out. It seems like it would be a cool thing to have. With once glance you could have a rough idea of a matchup. It won't be perfect, but for our first go at it in 2015 we're aiming for "somewhat functional."

So here's what I'm going to do. Go to every Character Discussion board, and ask the folks there if they wouldn't mind contributing. To submit one vote, you'll have to fill out one of these:

Mark each character with a + for a match where Bowser Jr HAS THE ADVANTAGE
Mark each character with a - for a match where Bowser Jr HAS THE DISADVANTAGE
Mark each character with a number 0 for a match you feel is very even.

NOTE THAT I AM ONLY TAKING VOTES FROM MEMBERS WITH Bowser Jr IN THEIR PROFILE BAR. It can be as either "Wii U Main" or "3DS Main". But if Bowser Jr is is neither one of those slots when I count the votes on Friday, Nov 13, it won't be counted.

(Yes, for the avid democrats out there, that means you can vote for one other character as well.)

Like I said, they won't be perfect, and each board will probably be a little biased toward their own respective character. But the results should be interesting regardless.

If this thing is successful maybe we'll do a revised version in 2016.

Edit: Asterisk (*) on Samus means that while I personally believe that Samus has the tools to hinder BowJow's game with her projectiles and zair, I've had an easy time dealing with Samus, so it was hard to choose.

Added some tweaks to some of the lists here, since one of the biggest downsides of bow jr are his matchups, at top lvl he really struggles vs almost all the cast ( any camper or rushdown character basically).

Actually your list , IMO, is the most accurate, even better than mine. Rushdown characters and characters that can camp are our bane.

Damn, thanks dude. There's bound to be some discrepancies based on personal bias and playstyle but i figure most of what I wrote was true to life.

Yeah same my list is pretty much Mr Moosebones besides a few discrepancy's. Also you may want to make that more readable Moosebones I had trouble distinguishing what was what. Also I'm not sure about us losing to Robin and Zelda. Could just be my inexperience in those MU's though.

If readability is your biggest issue with my chart then i have succeeded.

Without getting into it too much Zelda has extremely easy gimps and combos on bjr and if you dont think Robin is bad then I can guarantee you've never played vs a competent Robin. Mu sucks.

Yeah there is a Robin I play against often but I feel I'm just far better then him so that may be where that comes from.

Robin literally just spams stuff to keep bjr out and then punishes with nair and fair once we get in. Super flowcharty mu. You could probably beat a competent bjr with robin as long as you know what you should be doing in neutral (even if youve never played the character).
