Ok that was totally out of place, you can't compare Snake and Master Chief because unlike the latter, Snake has actually had games in a Nintendo system. Nuff said.

But Halo hasn't and probably never will be on a nintendo system.
It was goin to be on the DS...

...Besides, Snake hasn't since the NES

But lucky for us, Nintendo came to their senses... and Snake hasn't since the NES?

then what is that?
Oh, I had no idea there was a gamecube Snake game

Nintendo had nothing to do with no Halo DS...if anything they wanted it

and from a top guy from bungie
This rumor has been circulating for a while and as you know we even saw some real life screens and assets this week. Ultimately it's up to Microsoft to decide if and when they take Halo to a different platform. That particular demo was in fact created and I believe it was an unsolicited pitch a long time ago but nothing ever came of it.
too bad this happened b4 bungie & MS split

To quote Miyamoto, "I could make Halo. It's not that I couldn't design that game. It's just that I choose not to." Therefore, it is possible that he could've created Halo and along with the other nintendo franchises. in short, if masterchief was frolicking in a field of flowers, miyamoto would hold out his arms. and sakurai would pronounce them man and wife, and soon visit their house for a party 10 years later.

Heheh. Frolicking.

I just might draw that.

Halo is allright... an average fps. I find it overrated however. Gears of war, for example, had a much better inmersion into the action and i really felt like my tactical decisions made all the diference. In halo, you can get pretty far playing it like it's unreal tournament, rambo style.

What difficulty are you playing? At least with Halo 1 and 2, easy and normal are a breeze, but you actually need to use tactics on heroic and legendary. Heroic is the sweetspot though. Both Halo (1 at least) and Gears are similar in that they have a limited but varied weapon selection and only allow the player to carry a few weapons at a time. On easier difficulties of Halo and Gears, you can mow down enemies with little regard towards the weapon your using, but on higher difficulties, like in Halo, the differences between the weapons become much more significant to gameplay. You can still beat both games with a variety of weapon combinations, but on higher difficulties, the weapon selection has a much greater effect on tactics.
