Massive Unintentional Haitus

Okay, I'm back!
Yeah, none of you really know who I am or remember. I'm 'new' but I joined over a year ago. Anyway, I lost my password and couldn't log on for eight months because I was too lazy to find out how to reset my password.
I guess I just want to let people know that a thread I started will have some relevant posts. IT IS NOT BEING UNNECESARILY BUMPED!
But as a topic, has this happened to you? Have you ever had an unintentional haitus, and for how long?

Actually on topic:
Today was the first time I've posted in a while (about a year, I guess?). I mostly came here for the smash forums. I'm not a huge Brawl fan, so after the hype over Brawl pre-release died down, and the melee forums became relatively inactive, I just kind of left. I have no idea why I'm posting today. I guess I'm bored.

I joined in December of 2005, forgot all about this website and then made my first post in December of 2007. Suprisingly I remembered my password for some reason. Yeah, a two year haitus for me. I don't think I could go that long again though.

Sunday I ended a hiatus that lasted about 10 weeks. It began in August when I went on vacation for like 2 weeks.

Yeah, I guess it's not as massive as I made it sound, but 8 months seems pretty long.

Sometimes I just choose not to come online much for weeks at a time due to being occupied with other things or just not feelin like it. Then when I do actually sit down and spend time getting caught up on everything going on with online games and forums and contacts and such, everybody like jumps all over me like OMG WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN WHY ARE YOU IGNORING US? WE THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD.
