Looks like the roster has been finalized. Barring potential third-party additions/Sonic-like addition (if they aren't in yet) and last-minute clones (which is unlikely), there is nothing else fans can do but hope that the character they wanted was included.

You have to decide what you're going to be putting in early on, especially characters. That way, you can put as much attention into them as possible without them feeling rushed.

It still gets me how some folks who are against ridley use the excuse that he's "too big"

bowser and olimar say Hi


Bowser-shifts sizes frequently in the mario series.
Olimar-normally the size of a quarter in his games.


size has not, and never will be a major factor of whether or not a character can get in smash or not, so please ant-ridley people, use a different, decent excuse for why you don't want him playable.

It's a fighting game, that is just how development works.

Because like KumaOso and RomanceDawn said, the roster is one of the first things that get decided. The only inclusions I can see that hasn't already been added are characters with Sonic-like fan requests (Mewtwo is the closest), last-minute clones, and third-parties (if they return).
