Marth's dash dance grab (new tech)?

It's kinda similar to the PC ledge grab but you dash instead I only did it a couple of times but here's what I do
make sure your dash dance is withing the vicinity of the ledge you need to dash backwards right before falling off the edge and you'll be forced into this animation where Marth snaps into the jump animation falling straight onto the ledge

There are some instances where I dashed backwards noticeably further than the ledge but still get it right so please experiment with it. It would also be helpfl if you could record it and post in on this thread

Please use punctuation and try to do a better job providing a description. Also from what I can gather it pretty much sounds like a pivot ledge grab.

This has been known for a pretty long time and is just a more difficult variation on the PC drop. There might be a gif in Kadano's thread? Can also be done out of wavedash IIRC.

Generally, WD pivot WD fastfall is plenty sufficient to get you to the ledge in time from this position (facing forward from the ledge at about dashdance length).

(I'll admit I was expecting this to be pivot grab when I read the title.)
