Stay close and don't give Samus the chance to spam. Space well and be carefull of CC'd D-smash's. Samus is a tricky char to fight she has way to many tricks she can pull out o.O.

If sheild, then grab, forward throw and SHDF. You can hit the missles with fair btw (time it right).

L canceling is important

Ugh...I hate samus vs marth (I am a samus player)

Marth has a pretty big advantage vs samus. Your fair is amazing. Double fair into fsmash..double fair into another double fair..ken combo..missle shouldn't really slow you down because all of your aireals eat through then (yes even uair) Try fair uair instead of double fairing sometimes if the samus starts DI'ing well. Make sure you spave well and watch out for CC's. Grab forward throw then chase with a fair or nair.

Sorry, I'm a n00b, what does SHDF stand for, I looked at the terms on the SSBM Compendium of Knowledge: 2007 Edition, but I didn't see that abbreviation. I'm guessing SH is short hop

SHDF is short hop double fair. That works, and full jumping the double fairs is quite nice sometimes too. You have range on Samus, use it wisely. Nair -> double Fair -> fsmash can be quite nice.

The biggest Thing samus has Vs Marth is the CC into down smash or down tilt.

Not many ppl know this but if you hit samus with the F-air and she CCs it and down smashes or down tilts, just as long as you cancel into a side step, she wont be able to hit you with it if you cancel fast enough. You will end up side stepping her attack.

Also, if she is just CCing you, Spaced down tilts really work on her. Once a Samus sees you Down tilting, she is going to try and jump over it and when she is in the air, Marths F-airs beat everything she has. So force her into the air with down tilts and then Jump up and attack her when she tries to jump in on you.

Oh and Btw- I forgot to mention this....

If you are a marth fighting Chozenones Samus (or basically any character he uses), You are going to lose and there is nothing you can do about it.

umm... alright... anyway samus really shouldn't be that hard to beat. just don't let her charge her B move. i find people who play samus easy to beat (though I only live in a small town)

A good combo on samus is a shffled fair followed by a forward smash. Also the up throw is godd in leading to an utilt. Samus is floaty also which can give you more time to get under her for a uair.
