How does this confirm Marth? Just because he has a new game? Since when does that "confirm" characters?

(off topic though the gaem does look awesome, I always knew that Fire Emblem would make a perfect DS game. Control them on the touch screen, information windows on the top screen.... It had better not be Japan only.)

Well, I'd say that the new FE DS game + the fact that Marth is the most popular lord in Japan increases his chances of returning. IIRC, the world icon for Fire Emblem is Marth's sword too.

Honestly, it's almost as good a chance as Captain Falcon (zomg he has no profile that means he's not confirmed lol), which means it's highly likely.

How about you guys stop being so anal about the definition of the word confirmed, there's a lot of backing to Marth being back in it's pretty much confirmed. o_O

It's not confirmed on the Dojo, but honestly, you have to be pretty blind to say Marth doesn't have a big chance of returning, I don't see what's the point of being too mad at the topic creator for saying something that's pretty **** obvious. If he wasted your time saying it like it's 100% confirmed, oh well...close the topic, move on.

honestly though in seriousness, isn't the Fire Emblem symbol Marth's sword? sure, they may have just wanted it the same as Melee's logo, but most likley Marth will be playable, or at least at. this guy's reasoning is just pure piss.

Being incredibly likely =/= confirmed. There's a huge difference. No one's (well, most [reasonable] people aren't, at least) denying that he's obviously going to return, but that does not, in any way, mean he's confirmed. You may see it as being "anal," but that's definitely not a view shared by most people in this topic. It's fine if you aren't bothered by this topic, but that doesn't mean that others are in the wrong or petty for being annoyed by it. Just for reference, I'm personally not bothered by this topic.
