Marth in Teams

How should I go about playing marth in teams? I've been watching lots of pewfat and grabngo, but its hard to grasp what marth's actual role is. All I've been able to tell is that marth does best with a super agro fox or falcon, yet marth isn't necessarily a stock tank. Sometimes my teammate will get 2v1'd because its hard to go in with marth. Are there any guides or helpful hints/tips to playing marth in teams? My good friends tell me to grab as much as possible, and I do tend to get lots of grab which lead to fox usmash or knee, but its still tough.
