Marth in sudden death

I've learned a few truths about Marth, and one is that his quickest attack with good knockback (to my knowledge, I may be missing something), would be his up+B attack. From the air it doesn't seem to have much knockback, but it does from the ground, and at 300% damage, I haven't seen a single opponent survive this attack.

In sudden death with Marth, I normally charge straight at the enemy and Up+B them as soon as I think it would hit, I'm normally dead on with this. I also like to rush the enemy, then shield roll behind them to throw them off before unleashing this attack. So far it has served me well, but we all know that if this attack misses, Marth is pretty much dead, or at least in sudden death.

I guess I've beaten around the bush too much here, so I'll just ask my question.

"What attack/approach do you favor when using Marth in Sudden death?"

Then again, sudden death is a bit of a rarity in games since people normally face off on stock battles rather than timed battles.

First off, you don't go into a sudden death without fighting them in a normal match, so you should have a general idea of how they play. This is going to play a huge factor in it.

Basically, I see it can go three ways. Either they can go on attack, I can go on attack, or we both can go on attack.

1) I can go on attack. For me this is an obvious choice of fair wh0ring because it comes out so fast. If they are playing hard to hit, i might fake out a fair and go for a shield-breaker, but that's incredibly risky. So basically, go for the fair approach and bair them if they try and spot dodge/airdodge or or shield roll.

2) If they go for the attack and you don't...Basically....get them to attack first and counter. Mix it up with some dodge/spot rolls or whatever to make sure you don't mistime it(or your dead). If they're projectiling, go with number one.

3) Both of you go for the attack? Abuse your dolphin slash. It has super armor in the first 5 frames so make them think you're going to fair or counter, then when they get too close(and they probably have to unless they're projectiling in which case you need to go to them as it it were number 1). You can also try a dashing SH counter if you know they're going to attack you with a sh. ..

I do the same things Fear does...Using a single FB before a dolphin slash will ensure a hit.
When u hit them with The first dancing blade, they flinch. Right when they flinch Ub. :) Then everyones happy. But in a sudden death i recommend that u just rush SH Fair. Try to fake them out cuz ppl tend to roll dodge a lot and attk right after..
