Hey community, I'm kinda new to the competitive melee scene and I wanted to ask if you guys know the best Marth Guide out there? I heard that Emblem Lord had a good guide but I cant find that online. So if anyone can help me out here that would be awesome :) Thanks guys :)

Marth is in a bit of a transitional phase in terms of guidance. I suggest you start watching vids and learning as well as checking out video archives and any guides you may find digging around smashboards..

Ok thanks :) And what do you mean he's in a transitional phase?
I mean the Current Guides overall Focus on Marth in between the 04-07 Period. They stopped being updated because Marth Died and even Melee Died for a time. Since the "Revival of Melee" happened there hasn't been anything really solid done with Marth or Many other characters for that matter. Times have changed the way the game is played has even changed. Metagame's development has not missed a beat and Marth's guide's and most of his data is still based on Melee 04-07. The transition is basically bringing Marth's from 06-07 up to 2011 soon to be 2012.

But who would ever want to do that?

Nah, you can find a lot of tips just in the conversations that have been had in like that "Marth vs. ___" thread and Falcon Help, those cover a decent amount of current MU's. Go to the Video Critique section and watch the videos, and then read the comments following, this will give you a decent idea of right and wrong.
