It's because characters like Marth, Meta Knight, Snake, etc can all easily beat Mario without much effort, or, in fact, more like half the characters in Brawl without much effort.

Man, bro, that post made my eye's roll so hard it nearly fell out of my sockets......
Are you kidding me? If you main any of those characters do you care to play an online match to prove that statement?

FLUDD, I don't see why everyone was so POed they took away the tornado as a special. It was nearly useless as a special and now that the tornado is Dair (way more useful than the drill thing). So yeah way better now.
I agree. I don't see why they'd change it from FLUDD to something else. As far as updating the moves with the games, the cape was from Super Mario World, yet it still made an appearance in both Melee and Brawl. So yea, I predict that Mario's down+b will remain FLUDD.

SSB4 is so far away and there will be 30 mario games between now and then so odds are the move that he gets isn't even out yet in any game. And yes if you look in general discussion there is talk about SSB4 from the designers them selfs, and even talk about it being for the DS.

Ok, "without much effort" was an exaggeration but I said that only because I thought everyone knew those characters were kind of broken/overpowered.

Since I do happen to play Marth, I can play you sometime, I'll PM you later when I can.

Edit: I can't really play today but maybe sometime tomorrow.

I take back what I said

and mean that they those characters simply have a bit of advantage compared to other characters(Brawl's imbalance characters), didn't mean to bash on Mario.

Anyway, you can count me backing off and forfeiting our match. TBH, I never really played any of the characters I mentioned, I have played some with Snake(he used to be one of my mains) but I don't play him anymore, Marth is only recently my main(mainly because I've been playing every character lately, for some reason, dancing blade is so fun to use).

So sorry for the trouble for the first place.
