Marios abnormally long jump

Someone should make a video actually comparing the two recovery. It doesn't seem very huge to me.

Everything in Brawl seems bigger. Bigger characters, bigger range, and bigger recovery.

I don't know what it is but it's the impression I get from a lot of screens.

It's prolly cause of the whole Airial improvements thing Sakurai wanted.

The video is incorrect when it says Mario's jump equates to 7x his height. That line represents the total change in distance- that is, distance moved in horizontal and vertical directions. His vertical jump height is simply the distance from his original position, straight up to the ledge.

Math and Physics aside, I'm not as impressed with his jump as I was when I initially saw the update. It looks comparable to his Melee recovery.
