Mario vs. Fox/Samus

I'm having two money matches tomorrow, and I'm most likely going to use Mario in both of them (maybe G&W in the Samus one). I have most of my plans thought out, but can I have some last minute advice/reassurance?

Edit: If I didn't make it clear, I need advice versus a Samus player, and versus a Fox player.
