Mario Slide?

I have noticed that a lot of characters have been able to cancel their dashs and go into a U-Smash Is this possible with mario? and are their any other characters confirmed?

Sorry if this has already been answered i'm just looking for it and no real answers.

Yeah, I think you can do that with every character. You just have to get the timing down.

Almost every char can do it. Its just not a big benefit unless the char has a dash attack faster than thier run speed.

It's still better than sitting there waiting to be grabbed after shoving your foot into their shield.

If you mean just canceling the basic dash, every character can do it as long as you have tap jump on, some just don´t slide (practically) at all. It´s very useful in chasing since you can run up to your enemy and hit them with Usmash instead of dash attack.

As for canceling dash attack with Usmash, I know that few can do it, but Snake gets most benefit from it.

Mario's Dash Attack isn't anything special it probably won't make or break his game...if you want something cool with dash attack at certain %s/characters fly over Mario's head in range of a Fsmash
