Mario n-airs Meta out of Mach Tornado

Well, earlier today I was messing around and decided to use Metaknight vs. a lvl. 9 Mario. So, later in the match, I used the tornado, and he was trapped in it twirling around, and after a few hits, I got hit by his nair, and I'm sure the tornado hadn't ended yet. I thought it was weird so I thought I'd post here,where I may have an explanation. Thanks for any help!

Umm...I'm pretty sure Mario's n-air only hits out of Metaknight's tornado if he's directly above him.

Edit: All characters can get out of Metaknight's Tornado but it depends when and where the hitbox is of the attack to get Metaknight out of the Tornado.

Oh I see, thanks then, that was just fast reflexes and haxorz timing/spacing on the CPU's part (typical).

Yeah, level 9 CPUs are inhuman. If I dodged and DI as well as they could I'd be god.

You know, I managed to Nair twice inside the very middle of MetaKnight Tornado with Yoshi today. Maybe it isn't that farfetched.......
