Mario Characters WHO should be in?

Waluigi Might Make it. He would use his tennis racket to attack! (Wow)

Geno would be a favorite! I'm not a super mario RPG fan but I'd like him. He be a well rounded character, unlike Waluigi

Bowser Jr. is ovbiously in the game!He'd transform into shadow Mario and use the paint brush! He'd NOT be a clone of Bowser

Count Bleck is another light, strong, defenseless character. I'm thinking count bleck would be intresting.

Toad Won't make it. He's pretty fast and defensefull, but ends up a Peach's B attack. Peach could do a shell (Protective like toad) and Toad would be decent for ones that like light weight.

Shadow Mario and B Jr. Better make it! Look at this!

If you ask me, Koopa will never make it into brawl. He's A ENEMY! And he's a weaker form of Bowser

Mallow isn't the greatest choice but they shouldn't have Geno and Mallow. Mallow might be medium weight but normal attack. He would have good jump and defense.But not the best choice.

The koopalings might make it as Assist Trophies but never a character. All 8 of them, beatin the crap out of you.Hmm..

I think Dr.Mario will not return but if he does, i'll be happy! and confused so mario luigi peach bowser and them may have some diffrent moves! Thanks for reading! Plaese comment!

Im just worried about Dr. Mario.
I mush rather plat Dr. over Mario cause the pills and himself are more heavy. I like the movement for him better. But I had an idea, that would be cool costume wise but not character wise.
Maybe instead of Changing just ur color, u actually change costume. Like Mario can me normal, Dr, Raccoon, Wing Cap, Fire Flower red and white, not gaining the powers of each different costume but just a different look. Same for Samus, could have Vira Suit, Fusion Suite, Phazon Upgrade Suit from Metroid Prime 3. Stuff like that, would be awesome. Some characters can change costume while others like Yoshi are fine with just color change. But I just want Dr. Mario back.

Mario is definitely going to get one or two more characters other than the standard four (Mario, Luigi. Peach, Bowser). Whining about this should cease.

The three characters with the biggest chances of filling this/these spot/s in my opinion are Paper Mario, Bowser Jr. and Geno. Geno has the additional difficulty of being third-party and relatively unknown, while Paper Mario is challenged simply because he´s another Mario.

Then, finally, there´s Dr. Mario. I highly doubt that he will return, but at the same time nobody expected the Ice Climbers to make a comeback.

If Sakurai ASKS Square for a character, he would most likely ask for Geno...with all the evidence and his fan base, along with being #2 on the polls under Dedede AND Sakurai actually mentioning stuff about Geno.


Square isn't making the game, Sakurai is...the FF can stick themselves in Dissidia

As for who SHOULD be in, I think that's definitely Toad, though that isn't likely to happen after Peach's update, so I'll say Geno. I don't think Bowser Jr will be in, and I don't see why Paper Mario should be in more than Doctor Mario.

I'd have to agree with Yukiwarashi, Paper Mario would make an excellent character. Honestly, he's the only Mario character I'm hoping is in the game as well.

However, I understand that Bowser Jr. will probably be the next Mario rep... Just as long as it's not Waluigi or Daisy, or some other "party" character, I'm fine with it.

Mario Hoops 3 on 3 was made by square... It was the first but not the best, that's just an opinion. I don't have anything against Geno personally and he's not a character that i hate immensely (coughlucariocough), I wouldn't be mad if he got in and i'm sure he could have a unique moveset but i just don't think he is a good choice for brawl because he's only been in one game for a series that has a multitude of games

Maybe Dr Mario might be reduced to an alternate costume for Mario. As for new Mario character I think Bowser Jr might work, however I DON'T want Daisy simply because I hate hearing the non stop "Hi I'm Daisy" in Double Dash and you know she'll say that in the game.

There are only three newcomers from the Mario series that I think stand a good chance:

Bowser Jr.

Honestly, I think the only one I would want to see at this point is Geno, since he's so retro and different and has a cult following. The Mario franchise already has five characters (I tend to count Yoshi, even though he also has his own spin-off series), so we really don't need to reach for stuff like Toad or Waluigi to flesh out the roster or anything. It's not necessary for the Mario franchise to hog too many character slots; it just needs to be equal to or greater than the next closest (and the only real competitors on that front are Legend of Zelda and maybe Pokemon if you want to count the Trainer a whole bunch of times).

I think it's a given that Nintendo's number 1 franchise will not go down in the character count. While its suspect to say that it will go up, I think it's plain and simple that it will get someone to replace Dr. Mario. Now in my opinion, there are really only two characters that can get that spot, Bowser Jr. and Paper Mario. Toad's basically deconfirmed, Waluigi is just a filler character that's only in sports games, and Geno really doesn't deserve it even if you could find a cure to the legal issues that would come up with his inclusion.

Now there's a chance that both could get in at the same time, but I am leaning towards the notion that only one will show up. If this is the case, I'd give the nod to Bowser Jr, though with great difficulty, since I'd like them both. The problem with both of them is that they both are "spin offs" from pre existing characters, although BJ is his own, unlike PM. Still, I'd like them both, and quite frankly, if you see WW Link confirmed in this game, I'd have to say that PM will be in too. (Or vice versa)

Samus doesn't have much of a personality either. Same with Link. Or the PT. Or Pikachu. Or any of the Pokemon really. Or any of those other characters that don't speak because they represent the player. >_>

Although BJ is not one of these types, it's still evident that lack of personality doesn't hurt your chances.
