First off, the tier list contains every species of animal except fish (I think), there are just too many types of fish.

Now, you may wonder how this amazing idea came around. It was inspired by a topic on Dolphins in the Debate Hall, posted by Zero Beat.

Panelists MARINE BIOLOGISTS (with awesome lab coats):

I think it's safe to say there's a reasonable amount of bias here.

But really, Marine Iguanas are too high.

Because I say so. ;) Um, Alligators are just too awesome for B tier.
Because of this, we're more inclined to move the Alligator down.

I think Shamu (AKA the coolest orca ever) > dolphin
We've discussed this time and time again. Orcas fall in the same category as whales. And some whales hold back his position. Sorry to say it, but Orcas just fall short when compared to dolphins.

 I saw that coming - you troll pretty hard; all I can do is smile.

Hippos should be higher; they're among the most aggressive animals alive.

But Shamu has the brute force of an Orca AND the speed of a dolphin. You can't get much better than that.

Not saying I don't agree, but in all honesty, there's just terrible whales out there. Terrible whales that hold the Orca back.

That goes for most other animals on this list. You ever wonder why Nessie is SS tier? Because there's only 1. (arguably, probably 0.)

And that 1 animal is great, virtually no flaws/weaknesses.

Crocodiles should be S tier, after all they've been around for an incredibly long time without evolving much at all. Clearly they got the formula right (same with sharks).

I actually think this would be a better idea.

Replace Crocs with Marine Iguanas. Though Sharks would probably be top of B, maybe mid A.

Jesus Christ for God Tier.

Marine animals live in the water, but Jesus walks on it, and thus, walks all over them. Cool logic bro.

Might want to check these sites out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portuguese_Man_o'_War

Any organism with this name should be up there :D

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue-ringed_octopus

"The attack of this tiny creature can be deadly and there is no known antidote for a bite from it. The bite itself is not too painful, but the effects of the bite are catastrophic. The octopus has a neuromuscular paralysing venom which can cause paralysis and death within a short while. While there are occasions where if the victim is put on a respirator they can survive, getting bitten by one of these creatures is definitely one of the most dangerous things that can happen."

Put fish into the tier list S.O.L.I.D so we can add the shark!
Or you can just put into the s tier
That'd be unfair to any other fish that couldn't be on the fish.

Also, inb4 Nemo.

Guys, orcas are dolphins. Killer whales, aka orcas, are in the dolphin family.

If you want to get technical, whales, porpoises and dolphins all fall under the order cetacea, which means whale, so in a sense they're all "whales". But what we call "whales" are only those cetaceans that don't fall under the category of dolphin (Delphinidae) or porpoise (Phocoenidae). Orcas fall under delphinidae, thus, they are dolphins.

That said, you can't group all whales into one category. Some whales are just **** amazing. Case in point: sperm whale. It is the world's largest carnivore, and was known to sink ships back in the whaling days. Hell, it's even got a book written about it. Moby Dick.

Glad you caught that. Nobody bothered to point out any flaws in the list other than position.

Sharks have the advantage of not having imaginary powers. Also, Jesus lost to some nails and wood. Sharks don't give you the time to **** with them like that.
Don't argue with Allah.
They shoot you for that in Texas.
