Among the new Galar Pokemon, one stands out by actually being 6 Pokemon
The Formation Pokemon Falinks.
What is... are Falinks?
Falinks is a Fighting Type Pokemon that's found patrolling the ruins on Route 8. While counting as one Pokemon it is 6 different creatures, one brass and 5 troops. It doesn't evolve from or into anything and it's abilities are pretty standard but there's one unique move in it's arsenal, No Retreat. When it uses this move it boosts all it's stats at the cost of not being able to be switched out.
How would it work in Smash?
I'm thinking Falinks would work like a mixture of Olimar and the Ice Climbers. The Player directly controls the Brass (Head of the caterpillar shape they made) with the troops following on. This would make Phalanxs awkward to control at first but once mastered it could be a force to be reckoned with.
It has a lot of tactical moves in it's repertoire including Reversal, Counter, Iron Defence, First Impression and No Retreat with powerful finishers like Mega Horn and Close Combat for the kill.
