March 9th delay???

so my friend just came back from a video game store to reserve smash and the owner of the store said that his vendors are talking a possible delay. he said it will could be pushed back til march 9th, any one else hear anything like this?? no me gusta

when did the smash boards become an area to just put down people. i do not frequent the site very often, i just wanted to get a quick reply from better informed users. i do notice that the higher ranked members are more courteous as opposed to the "noobs" and "childs" of these boards. take a not from the senior members and be more polite. if you see the thread has been answered then there is no need for you to scold other members.

1.) It's way too soon to feb 10 to delay any more without global repercussions, and not to diss nintendo, but they couldn't handle it. noone could.

Sakurai would have changed the release date if it was delayed. It's been at least 3 days (perhaps a week) since this rumor started and he still has not changed the date on the site, so I've just about completely dismissed the possibility.

Vendors are saying March release dates just to cover their ***. The Dojo continues to say Feb. 10th, so that IS the release date. I still think a delay for the North American version is possible at this point, and I've kinda been expecting the worst. But as far as I'm concerned, the game is coming out Feb. 10th because that's what the Dojo says.

I know what you mean. Thing is there's been at least one thread about this on the front page all day so it's getting kinda annoying. Noone on here thinks that there'll be a delay really, the chances are pretty good against a delay, and I'm sure we'd know by now too.

I just called nintendo up
(1-800-255-3700) and asked if Brawl had a delay at all, becuase numerous sites and stores had March dates. The lady assured me that Brawl would meet its February 10th release date as intended. She said they will ship the copies a few days ahead of time, and I would be able to pick it up on Sunday as long as the store would be open and have the copies on the shelves.
