FAQ

Why general admission and not traditional entry? (Traditional: Venue fee - discount for set up + $$ for singles + scavenger for teams partner or don't participate because it's “not worth it”).
  • I chose to incorporate a flat general admission for a couple reasons. First, it just makes things simple. If you want to play friendlies all day and meet people in your region, go for it! (There will be dedicated friendlies TVs). Want to enter singles bracket? Sign up before registration ends. Interested in teams but don't have a partner? You don't have to pay for them! Find someone and enter the bracket; learn teams and find chemistry at no additional price point to think about. Second, the prize winnings are not dependent on how many people show up. No matter how many or how little people show up you're guaranteed the prize. Just show up and have fun.
But if a lot of people show up shouldn't the winning prize be bigger?
  • There is no pot, that's why you are guaranteed a prize no matter how many or how little people show up. Come to my event and know exactly how much you can win, no matter what happens! Obviously, as the events grow, so will the prizes.
