I was sitting here, eating lunch, when I had a terrible thought:

What if Brawl doesn't bring the same sort of competition that we all know and love that exists within Melee?

My question to everyone is, if this does happen, and Brawl is just not up to par with Melee as far as a competition aspect goes, who is going to take the initiative to make an online function for Melee on the Wii?

(Okay, I know it will most likely be Nintendo's job, but this thread is merely to a address and discuss this question, not to actually find someone to create online capabilities for Melee.)

Thank you,

That is all.

Brawl will be good; don't worry.

If it isn't, we'll play Melee.

Um, that's it, I guess.

Yep, it's been a year since I've been on these forums, and I do remember Mic_128 for some reason.

I guess I just really want to be able to play Melee online as well as Brawl...

Just close the thread, I don't care, I was just joking around.

Melee can be played online though the Gamecube, and it's not illegal to do so (as far as I understand the legality of it)

There's a fair few topics about it in Melee Disc, search around.
