Would you prefer the ghosts to have a consistent timing pattern for their appearance?

That ghost mofo don't give no crap

Since this is a tournament legal stage, I find it all too often that people get screwed over (hilariously) by the random ghosts popping up on either side of the stage. Such as cutting off Ness' PK thunder, or catching a person mid recovery only to have the unexpected landing lag brutally punished (or just messing up your edgeguard). But the ghosts are really cool in a lot of situations for off stage play, unfortunately there isn't any potential strategy to them like randall.

@Shadic (who I have personally seen the ghosts abuse)
@Vanguard
@SOJ

I'm not sure on any technical feasibility of stage coding but it would be cool to put then on a consistent timer (in whatever pattern, timer awareness 20XX), like randall, as to add to the strategic depth of the stage, while subtracting from the BS.

I believe so, I hope I didn't just leak something
Quote from PMBR's website on the stage...
The main draw to this stage is the single platform, which tilts on occasion leading to changes in spacing and strategy. Also shifting on Yoshi's Island are the seasons. The aesthetic and background changes to match whatever the time of year is...or rather the few minutes that every season stays prominent for. This stage also has the support ghosts, which unlike Randall appear randomly and lack the same swagger that Randall is well known for. Yoshi's Island is home to dozens of easter eggs, so be sure to try and spot them all.
... I don't think it's in the public build.
it's also not in the 3.0/3.01/3.02 changelogs.

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING

(Except not really since there's no cue for when the ghosts do pop up)

If it's consistent then they will always pop up at the same time on the timer. That's the same way you predict randall.

IIRC Randall is synchronized with the elephant in the background.

????
I always thought a lil arrow that pops up over where the ghost would be when they're ready to pop up would be nice. a hint of consistency so you don't throw in that direction assuming to edgeguard, and they immediately pop out out of nowhere, while still keeping them because they're a nice addition to a neat counterpick

I suppose, but it still isn't he largest difference.
That was my opinion as well, until I saw Bizarro-Flame utilize randall during KoC4 to safely recover when he may have been unable to any other way, then it struck me how important timer awareness can be on stages with such mechanics.

I wish you'd leave the option to just get rid of randy altogether in the poll, but oh well.

According to toast they were on timers but it was accidentally reverted prior to 3.0
