Honestly, I don't think this is necessary. It'll definitely be brought to Wii U and/or American arcades.

But Nintendo is really bad at knowing what people want a lot of the time for example Mother 3, Fatal Frame 4, and Xenoblade Chronicles, Last Story and Pandora's Tower (before Operation Rainfall)
