Would anyone else totally GASM everywhere from the thought of Lynn being in Brawl? (not because she's a woman...) her fighting style was sick in FE aswell as Hector! - TBH they would be my 2 most wanted characters in brawl.

Anyone else agree or have other FE suggestions?

FE = fire emblem .. for anyone who didn't know.

Lyn's hawt and all, but she's barely a possibility for a Brawl character. They could get creative with her and Sol Katti and using a Bow, but I doubt it'd be enough.

Wait, Lynn? The dancer from FE4? I'd prefer someone else.

Nah, the others from FE4 could attack too, and I think the ones in FE1/3 and FE5 could too.

Really. That's pretty interesting. Why do you think that feature was taken out. It seems pretty useless at first, but I'd personally like to see a dancer/bard attack. It would also explain why they have a strength growth in the first place.

Another thing that bugged my is Laguz wasting some of their growth rates on Magic in FE9. It made sense for archers since the bright bow was programmed in the game, but laguz had no buisness using it.

Lyn should be in because she is a female sword fighter, and the first female Lord. Hector and Eliwood (To replace Roy and allow the Lyn and Hector to be there) should also make it in as well. =\

They were the first lords in the US, Marth was the first in Japan, since FE7 is out in both US and Japan I can see it'd be pretty likely they'd make it. Plus Hector would be very original with his moveset considering he uses an Axe. Lyn would be a fast character adding to the female roster. Eliwood could shut up all of the people who miss Roy.

Three Lords from the same game? No, I doubt it. There are ten FE games to draw characters from. They can be more creative than that about it. There would probably be at the most one playable character from FE7. Try to remember that the Game Boy Advance Fire Emblem games are generally considered to be inferior to the console ones over in Japan. The only reason Roy got in Melee was that his game was released around the same time, and they wanted cheap publicity. I would personally love to see Lyn as a playable character, but the chances are small. We're more likely to end up with someone from FE2, 4, 5 or 10. Micaiah would be good. It would show that Fire Emblem characters don't have to fight with swords.

I'm just saying I can't see one without the other two. I'd say Lyn has a good chance since she adds to the female roster, and Hector would be great because he uses an axe. I don't really care at all about Eliwood. It just seems like he'd have to be there.

Also if I remember correctly, I believe Sakurai said he wasn't going to do the Japan only character thing that he did with Marth and Roy.

I remember him saying something about putting more females also. I really hope for Lyn to be chosen for Brawl...

But would he put Characters that the Japanese despised? Lyn's got a chance because of being a girl, but Micaiaih's got a better chance because

1.She's a girl
2.She's a magic user
3.She's a main character for the upcoming FE10 (cheap advertising like Roy was)

Marth and Roy are also no longer Japanese only characters IMO. They're known worldwide (Marth much more than Roy) becaue of their appearance in melee. Sure we can't play their games (or can we? aren't emulators amazing?), but they're still much more popular than any of the GBA characters. I can definately see Roy getting cut since he was only used for advertising (and since his game is already out he's no longer doing that), but Marth's position hasn't changed.
