That's me. I never truly owned a GameCube so when I got Brawl I still didn't have a GC Controller.

I use default setup except for D-Pad which is set to Smashes, and C Button which is set to Grabs (for Fingerbangs).

Are you able to do the Luigi Cyclone with the whole upwards momentum?
I'm having trouble with it, I can do it on stage (jump twice then cyclone and smashing b to go up)
but when I try and jump off stage... I fail miserably lol :(

Yep, you can do the Rising Cyclone. Just make sure you jump right before it to make it easier on your fingers. It's also possible to do a Jumpless Rising Cyclone but it's harder for Wiimote+Nunchuckers because of how hard it is to press B fast with the index finger.

Offstage, just do the Rising Cyclone right after your mid-air jump and you'll be golden. That's how most people do it, GC or W+N.
