Luigi VS. ???

Yeah so Sonic is my main, but Luigi is my right hand man. I think Luigi is pretty good against just about anyone, but does anyone think that Luigi is better against certain characters, and weaker against others? Any comments on who you think he's best against and worst against?

That match-up chart is horribly arbitrary and possibly downright inaccurate. I wouldn't use it as a guide for anything.

Not sure who Luigi is best against.
Positive Luigi is worst against Meta-knight.

Darn right Luigi is worst against Meta-Knight. Meta plays nearly identical to Luigi in the air, but has more priority with nearly every single move. Have fun with that match up...

Luigi is great against Olimar, tornado ***** pikmen. If you face Lucario I would suggest using someone else, Lucario's aura out-prioritises your attacks, and his attacks in the air are fairly quick. Generally though it is based on the caliber of the player you face, and their style of play so this isn't an easy black and white question.

Only lucario's fair is fast, the rest are actually really slow(some are even bowser-slow). Lucario has some great distance, almost bizarre duration/size disjointed hitboxes(they seem to like to lie visually too), but once you learn them he does have punishable lag on his attacks that luigi can effectively exploit. I wouldn't suggest using someone else, because any problem lucario is going to give luigi is going to also give the same problems to some other character.

thanks for all the input guys, and i'm glad you guys mentioned Lucario because he sometimes gives me trouble, but I can usually work around him
