lol you did a half charged missle then a zap jump missle, then a falling momentum i think tornado then a upb to sweetspot. good ****. now if only i knew how to mash that b button with out using my double jump >_>

1st video

:13 nicely done to start off the match since he missed his fsmash it almost look it was a tipper range too LOL.

:16 after the upair I was pretty sure you could land that Nair faster then his Fair or probably you weren't in range. Remember that Nair comes out at frame 3 and Marth's Fair is like frame 4?

:20-21, marth put himself in a bad position by full hopping. Marth's blind spot is below him. You could have ran and got underhim as much as possible espically since he didn't cover himself with a second Fair.

:25-29 I'm gonna call that the Locuan combo

:32 for some reason whenever Marth's moves touch Luigi's shield he'll obviously slide away farther, you ran away on that direction to reset the sitaution and Marth's spacing. So you could maybe throw out a reverse Sh fireball? :/

:36 Bair buffered into a shoryuken can punish him for his dair on stage.

:40 maybe utilted fsmash? comes out faster than upsmash iirc.

:38 wow luigi slides hella far lol

1:00 what's with grabbing the edge? that's where Marth excels. What was with ledge jump to a airdodge. You got punished from that.

1:03 you got a misfire I thought you were gonna live LOL.

1:05 perfect example why misfire sucks so much ***. It costed you a stock.

1:08 - 1:16 = locuan combo'd and killed ftw

1:28 = From reading you right now, I'm going to guess you were gonna run and spotdodge but instead you made the mistake of jumping and airdodging then getting punished for it.

1:38 = mauhauhuha! Locuan's nado = gimp ftw.

Overall : I think the Marth needs alot more work then you do. He needs to work on his marth. Otherwise you should really find a MArth equal to your skill then every thing will feel much different. But I'm going to assume/predict in the future or present atm, that you have a spotdodge habit like me. Yes I know it sucks :/ This is just from watching the first video =3 but other wise good job pulling off locuan combos. (lol)

Edit: @ Zhao agreed by far alot lol.

second video critique

;07 perfect way to start the match. Sexy beauitful use of the fireball. The ground fireball forcing Marth to jump, while Luigi has time to react he throws out a SH fireball leading to a hit to Marth nuts. Sexy use of the fireball Locuan.

;10 what happened locuan? scared? your suppose to be working your way in Marth not airdodging away from him. You could have fit a Nair in there at least.

;12 dash attack o.0; people say it does have its uses but to me it isnt really useful espically since the last hit is automatically powershielded and obviously the marth didn't so meh lol.

Spotdodging habits are better than rolling habits, but not by much. If you're one of those people who attacks-misses, then spotdodges, you have to watch that. It's crazy easy to punish.

You have got a good luigi :). I don't really face marth that much but when he does his air attacks, for example his F-air, B-air, etc, If you block his Air moves, then you could do a SHORYUKEN!! on him.

Jaja Locuan combo?

Still yes the Marth is by far not great but it's the best I can do at the moment to record.

Either way I'm hoping I can get better vids off today from tourney practice for tomorrow or the like.

BTW, yes I spotdodge to much.

1st Video: Exceptionally well defensively, with spotdodges and powersheilding and that roll at the start. Also you are great at racking up damage, like the d-throws and jab combo's but once you get Marth over 120% I'd just open up with the up angled f-smash because that tends to get the job done.

2nd Video: Really good quickness, like the SH fireballs and what not. And again solid d-throw combo's those is you strength, but watch out when using a green missile, you are lucky at 0:47 he chased you off stage because he could have easily f-smashed you off the course after that.

3rd Video: :'( ...........................................................................................

All in all, that clearly wasn't the best Marth, but that goes without saying your Luigi is very strong. You are one of the faster Luigi's I've seen. Don't spotdodge too much, the safest defense is a power sheild.
Good videos.
