Ok, i think we've all not liked or regretted using lucas' running grab at one point or another. I'm just posting this to point out, his pivot grab is 100x better. Looks like it has a bit more range, but the main advantage is the speed in which is comes out. Waaaay faster than idle/running grab. Just do a quick dash dance and grab on your way back. Almost half as much ending lag too. Good mind game potential, you could either grab, pk fire or bair. Main point, get good with that dash dance>pivot grab.

Now if I could just get dashdancing online figured out, the lag makes it very difficult to figure out wtf you're doing.

Isn't a pivot grab just a dash grab in the opposite direction?

How could it be any faster or have any less lag than a regular dash grab?

I also find dash dancing to open with your bair is a very good starting point for battle.

Yeah, I can't dash dance online. Actually, I find it more difficult to dash dance in Brawl altogether. :ohwell:

Pivot grab has different characteristics than a normal or running, that's just how it is.

Yet another new trick I've got to try. I just love how Lucas has a whole lot of potential, something sorely missing in a lot of the returning characters who are pretty much copies of there melee selfs.
