Lucas on Brinstar- some tricks I just noticed.

Click More Info for the details. Basically Lucas seems to be able to Usmash and Pk Thunder in the lava when it's only slightly covering the stage. You'll levitate slightly above the lava for the duration of the attacks.
Dunno if this has been found or what, but I'm posting it anyway.

I wonder if it also works for Ness. I doubt it, though. Have you tried it when the acid risen up further than just the first surface or no?

last time i checked Ness' PK Flash doesnt raise him off the ground....

i guess the PKT would though.

I know at 2:39 Lucas' hurtbox shrank/moved up.

If you look at both of them, lucas is slightly above the ground and his feet are clearly not touching the lava. No, I haven't done any further testing, but I'll try with ness as soon as i hook up my Wii.

It seems PKT2 doesn't work anymore, it just reduced the lower hitbox so i could stand on that tiny ledge. Usmash is still viable for a moment's save, at least.
