Anyone put any extensive testing into momentum braking with the b-stick? For example, reverse down-B to reverse the knockback altogether?

wavebouncing doesn't fight unfriendly momentum, unfortunately.
It amplifies it.

The magnet conserves momentum, both good and bad. This is why wavebouncing works; the magnet conserves and amplifies the backwards momentum of PK Fire.
=/ This wouldn't work. Even if you do wavebounce the PSI magnet, it would just send you flying farther instead of reversing it altogether. I tried this a few months ago actually, but unfortunately Lucas doesn't have any momentum canceling tricks =/. Good thought though.
