fox can do well with lucas. I'm not sure who else, if you stick to the top end of tiers, you should do fine.

I think he would do well w/ Zelda, mainly because, Zelda could heal Lucas if she Din's fire and he does PK magnet. To add, they both have projectiles that can be guided. Good for not hitting your teammate. I'd say the Lucas would have to be on the offensive for most of the game, since Zelda is for the most part a defensive character.

Oh, and for anyone on here who's on gamebattles also, I'm really looking for a good Lucas player to be my teammate for doubles ladder. I main Zelda, and I think Zelda works great with Lucas on dubs. I have a thread on the SSBB forum under recruiting about getting a good Lucas to join me, and I haven't found any yet, so just post on that if you want to join me.

I team with a Kirby main/Dedede secondary.

Works decently well but its nowhere near amazing. The Kirby can heal me with my pk freeze if he sucks me up and I can combo off his up throw. PK fires can also be short hopped right above his head so the Kirby can be aggressive while being covered by a projectile.

The DDD can d-throw into my smashes and swallow/spit me into people and I can uair right out of the mouth for a double hit. Can also heal off his waddle doos.

Tuckahoe, don't say anything...lol
My team, PK Thunder, is with pikachu, and he uses mario as a secondary. Pikachu works out pretty good, fast and agile and a very quick attacker, just like Lucas. Only problem is that both Lucas and pikachu aren't the heaviest of attackers but a good pikachu player works out really well since his attacks are so fast, faster then Lucas', and still pack a really big punch. Not only that, if time fire is on, I usually get healed if i just so happen to be next to a thunder or if someone dodges a quick thunder jolt.

I know it's been suggested and it's generally unliked, but a good Lucas and Ness duo can create a very nice wall of disjointed hitboxes that makes for a rather intimidating force; most people I play against when I use this aren't exactly sure how to react once we get it in motion. It sure has its flaws, but again not many people play against something like that.

A really simple, general part of the idea- as an example- is having Ness press forward with Fairs while Lucas is directly behind pressuring with shorthop B-sticked PK Fires. That's only one of the many small things the two can do to abuse disjointed hitboxes/projectiles.

bowser and charizard would be good since you can get down to 0% in seconds with their fire (this is the fastest way to heal i believe). problem is, neither character is really amazing - but i'd go with PT because he has access to squirtle and ivysaur who are really good :)

I'll second the Lucas/ Fox duo Levitas said earlier. I main Lucas, and my friend mains Fox, and its just very fluid when we team together. His gun heals, and is faster than most other attacks people use to heal.

Is this with Team attack on or off?

If it is on, I would choose a partner with good range so that when Lucas uses PK fire a lot, they dont get hit by it too much. Also, anyone with major enrgy attack (icys, Bowser, Ness) could heal Lucas.

umm--- With lucas having his magnet, it would be best to have someone with projectiles who can heal lucas, but there is also the bucket thing for GnW that you can take advantage of with Lucas using the Pk fire. While GnW doesn't have any healing projectiles for Lucas though, this benefits GnW. If you want to benefit Lucas by healing, then perhaps Zelda or fox, both have decent projectiles, Zelda you can move, and is probably easier to magnet, and i guess it heals a good portion. Fox has a quick gun shot, if someone goes after you, you can probably get at them right after.

Reiteration, but Zelda and Lucas work very well. The thing i like, is at the beginning of the match,we go to a corner, space ourselves, and i (Zelda) get behind Lucas, who starts PK Firing away, sh or not, while I'm Din's firing to an upwards angle, like the height a little higher than that of a full hop, since din's has so much range on explosion, and if they air dodge my din's, they get hit with a PK fire when they get near the ground. It makes a huge wall of pain for the opposing team. It's fun to do, and is a good way to start a match off, making the other team get annoyed and very aggressive.

Um, they both kill at very low percents, Zelda at lower, like 90 to 100, she has three, and 115-125 plus, she has 7 or 8. Lucas has good KOing moves too, I don't know all of them, but i'd say by 120 he's got 5 or 6, so they KO well and early. And since they kill early, Zelda can heal Lucas w/ Din's Fire for like 20 or more, dependent on range.

Overall, very good teammates, speaking of which

I'm still looking for a Lucas to be my doubles partner, my friend keeps playing CoD4 instead of smash, so i need another lucas for my team. We can discuss strategies through pming me here or on gamebattles. I have the same username on both.
