Looking to join major Melee tournaments

Hey, I'm the Pichu Guru, and I'm looking into joining professional play for Melee, strictly. If someone could tell me how to get on the board, or if there is a tournament near Kansas City, I would love to know.

Pichu is definitely my first option, given my name, but I will use Marth half the time. I'm either regarded as a hero or a fool for using Pichu, and the truth will be decided come tournament time.

Yeah I get that a lot for using ness. People have a lot of trouble using him but I never seem to have any except for recovering from falling off the ledge
