I'm a Link main looking to improve in the game and possibly get into competitive. I was wondering what the best way to improve is as level 9 computers are no longer a challenge to me and I lag out most times I try 1v1 matches online. If anyone has any advice or will to help/teach me online that'd be great. I'm not particularly good with fancy stuff like strategy and combos but I like to think I know the basics pretty well.

This kind of post doesn't require a whole new thread, take a look at our rules thread so this doesn't happen again.

Second, we can give you advice, sure… but we can't help you directly without some footage of you playing or something. Perhaps show us something, and post it in this thread.

Finally, do some digging around, try to find Kentucky's Smash Scene, tournaments will improve your skill greatly. If you can make it to one, all the power to you.
